What Our Students Say About Us
Transitioning out of the military can be a daunting experience, but MD Technical School made it feel manageable—and even exciting—for me. As an Army Officer preparing for my next career in IT and Cybersecurity, I knew I needed the right training and support to succeed. Lance and his team at MD Technical School delivered that and so much more. From the very first interaction, I felt like more than just a student—I felt like part of a team. The instructors didn’t just teach concepts; they shared real-world insights and practical advice that helped me build confidence in my skills. The training was offered online, with labs and other simulated exercises that prepared me for real job scenarios.
What really stood out to me was how flexible and accommodating their programs were. Whether it was online training or in-person discussions, they always found ways to fit learning into my schedule. That flexibility allowed me to keep up with my studies while managing home and Army transition demands.
Lance and his team were there for me every step of the way. They answered my questions, offered guidance, and even provided tips to help me prepare for my certification exams. Their encouragement and expertise kept me motivated and focused.
Thanks to MD Technical School, I didn’t just gain the skills I needed—I gained the confidence to step into the IT field ready to succeed. I can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to break into Information Technology or advance their existing skills.
MD Technical School was more than just a training provider—they were a partner in my career transition, and I’m incredibly grateful for their support.

CyberSecurity AnalystI’m currently active duty Army working in Space & Missile Defense as the S3 OPS NCOIC. For the past three years I’ve been preparing myself for retirement in 2025. I completed my BSIT and started pursuing certification namely NET+, SEC+, and CASP+. With that said, MD Technical School has been by far the best training & certification program I’ve been apart of in terms of professionalism, expertise, knowledge, mentorship, and training. I would recommend to any one of my fellow service members, vets, or civilians pursuing a career in IT, physical security, acquisitions etc to be a part of this program. Aside from all that I’ve stated, the mentorship is next level. I’ve never had someone so eager to put me on, just as long I’m doing my due diligence. This provided me with a sense of calm and excitement that I wouldn’t have to navigate unfamiliar territory (the civilian work force) by myself.

IT AnalystThe IT classes and training from MD Tech have been a complete career changer for me and my family. Since retiring from the military, I was able to enter the job market as a capable technician and compete in a challenging industry. The class focused on real world applications required to be successful from day one on the job. The instructor is knowledgeable and present the information in a way that allow students to understand the technical procedures and protocols but really re enforce these necessary skills with valuable hands-on training and labs that complement the learning. Once the training was completed, I started my first IT job as a Network Admin. I was nervous upon starting the job but soon realized that my duties and requirements on the job was covered in the classes. I was ready and prepared from day one. Since starting as a Network Admin, I was promoted to a Wireless Network Admin and UC Engineer as my current position. I highly recommend the classes from MD Tech and have plans in the future to attend more. These classes are proven to help those seeking to achieve in the information technology career fiel

Mr. RW
Wireless Network AdminI was introduced to MD Tech Solutions, LLC in August 2018, and decided to sit in on a Networking class (IP Networking On The Job Training)
to see if I would have any interest in switching careers. At that time, I was working for the United States Postal Service and was looking for a less
physically demanding position. After the first hour of class I decided that this was the route I wanted to pursue. I was finally learning something new,
and the instructors were a major factor that kept me engaged. After I completed the course, I was eligible to take the Security Plus as well as the CCNA exams. The instructors helped along the way with great study tips and how to go about using my time wisely on the certification exams. Once I successfully passed the certification exams MD Tech Solutions immediately guided me with resume writing, what kind of entry level/mid level positions I could apply for and mock interviewing. I went on a few interviews and landed my first position at XXXXXXX as a IT Service Delivery Rep in XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.I reached back out to Lance Durante (President /CEO) to see if MD Tech Solutions offered any Cyber Security Classes, and he enrolled me into the CCT (Certified Cybersecurity Technician) Training course they offer. This course was packed with so many learning tools and a rigorous amount of information. After completing this course MD Tech once again guided me through resume reconstructing, interviewing skills and help with job searching. I just landed another position at XXXXXXXX, LLC as a System Engineer in support of the XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.
Lance Durante and MD Tech Solutions, LLC really provide people with a step-by-step path for a smooth transition into the Networking field.

Systems EngineerI came to MD Tech School for a better career opportunity not only for myself but for my whole family. I was stuck at a dead end job where your raise really meant nothing, no growth for advancement and the work kept pilling more and more. You come to a point in your life where either you stay where you are at or you chase your dreams, and I wanted to chase my dreams. Sometimes in life we doubt ourselves, because we think that you can’t achieve that because it’s to hard or impossible to reach, but nothing in life is unreachable. What I have learned about myself is that MD Tech school believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, they gave me the courage and the strength to better myself. They showed me the tools and the Certifications to advanced my skills in the working IT fields. The sky is the limit for me now, and will keep improving my skills to advance my career opportunities. The trainers were amazing and till this day I keep in contact with them. On my first IT job, I doubled my salary and I am so thankful for MD Tech for providing the keys to my future.

Mr. S
IT AnalystMr. Durante, I want to thank you for providing me the opportunity of a lifetime. My life has changed forever! MD Tech Solutions provided an amazing level of hands on Network Engineering experience that positioned me to a $100,000+ salary. When the opportunity to train with MD Tech Solutions was presented to me, I was working as a manager earning $30,000. However, my peers were very successful. I was open to new opportunities and the IT field was and is trending and in demand. After completing what I consider a 5 Star training program I completed my CCNA and Security + certifications. I am now working in the Information Technology industry at Andrew Airforce Base as a Network Engineer making $110,000 a year! With these certifications I literally receive calls every day from companies for Network Engineer positions. I look forward to continued work with MD Tech and to give back by training our future Network Engineer’s.

Mrs. Genevy H
Network EngineerHi guys! I’m so excited to announce that I’ve sat for and successfully passed my CompTia SecurityX (formally known as the CASP 005) certification all thanks to wonderful staff and mentoring of Lance Durante! I recently joined the program after being introduced to the CEO at a recent job fair. It has been the best decision so far after graduating last December 2024 and lacking the guidance to navigate the field of cybersecurity. It’s hard work but well worth the knowledge I’ve obtained thanks to my instructor Corvonte Morales and the amazing mentorship from Mr. Durante. I would highly recommend this path and I’m so excited for the journey ahead.

cybersecurityIn July 2025, I was laid off from my job and wasn’t sure what direction to take next. I wanted a career that offered stability and growth, and that’s when I decided to pursue cybersecurity through MD Technical.I completed the Security+ course first, which gave me the foundational knowledge I needed to pass the certification exam. The instructors made complex topics easy to understand and supported me every step of the way. From there, I went on to complete the RMF training, which helped me understand the compliance side of cybersecurity — skills that are already helping me in my career.
Shortly after finishing both programs, I was able to earn my Security+ certification and land a job in cybersecurity. What started as a setback ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’m grateful to MD Technical for giving me the tools and confidence to make this transition successfully.
